Hello angels, I thought it was about time we had a little catch up of everything that’s been lovely lately, I’m currently ill with a chest infection so I’ve decided to put together a collection of pretty photos from the months of April and beginning of May to cheer myself up! I love creating more lifestyle content and I thought ‘My Princess Diaries’ would be the perfect way to share memories and what I’ve been loving lately sprinkled with some extra magic and whimsy!
I was personally invited to my first ever blogger press event by Canon uk to celebrate the launch of their new Zoemini S or C instant camera printers which I was so excited about and very thankful for because you all know how passionate I am about photography and I just knew it would be a perfect opportunity to meet other bloggers and gain some camera equipment knowledge from the Canon team.
I was also in my absolute element as the event was held at EL&N cafe which has pink flowers in abundance and enchanted carousels, the perfect location for photo opportunities! I was really anxious about attending this event but I’m so glad I pushed myself out of my comfort zone and hopefully this is just the beginning of opportunities like this arising for me. Can you imagine if I ever got invited to a Disney event, just throwing that out into the universe because well you never know!
I couldn’t resist purchasing a couple of sweet Spring scents from Yankee Candles new Sunday Brunch collection and I’ve been burning them throughout the Spring months! I chose Sweet Morning Rose which is described as a pretty pink confection garnished with delicate rose petals with sparkling rose water, sugared rose petals, powdery musk and marshmallow! I also chose Blush Bouquet which has notes of Cherry Blossom, Peony, Sweet Pea, Lily and Amber! This candles combination of some of my favourite Spring flowers makes it such a fresh and delicate scent reminding me of happy days when Cherry trees are blossoming.

On May 14th it was my birthday, I turned 27 and the day before for pre celebrations we took a trip down to London on a beautiful sunny day and payed a visit to this peony pink dream world! Otherwise known as Peggy Porschen new flagship parlour that has opened up in Chelsea which is two floors packed with prettiness and exquisite fairytale details!
Myself and my fiancé were seated at the pink terrazzo table and it was such a serene setting from the hustle and bustle of the city to enjoy some delicious sweet treats! Simon chose a ‘Salted Caramel’ cupcake and ‘Lemon, Raspberry and Rose’ layer cake and I chose the new seasonal summer cupcake ‘Eton Mess and Fleurs’ and a ‘Glorious Victoria’ layer cake because if you can’t eat lots of cake around your birthday when can you?! They also offer breakfast now too, I really want to try the buttermilk pancakes.
Everything about the new parlour is so whimsical and elegant which of course came as no surprise to me because you all know how much I adore the original parlour in Belgravia which is so cute and cosy but I’m completely in love with the new parlours spacious interior, soft pastel hues, chic decor, high ceilings, panelled walls and beautiful pink Peony wall art designed exclusively by one of my favourite fashion illustrators Kerrie Hess! The whole space is still in keeping with the magic and charm of their brand just with an evolved interior design. Downstairs you will even find a pink peony cocktail bar and rose room which you can hire out for special events and I also bumped into Peggy herself who as I expected was lovely.
The powder room created the feeling of a glamorous dressing room with milkshake pink timber panelling, candy striped walls, marble vanity tops, brass accessories and other luxurious details to make you feel like a princess when freshening up!
How dreamy is the new seasonal summer floral installation, these displays always look like something straight out of a fairytale with intertwining vines, romantic roses and wisteria.
As always Simon treated me like a princess for my birthday, we had the loveliest day in London together, eating pretty cakes at my favourite pink place, took a romantic stroll around the Hyde Park rose garden in the sunshine which was so picturesque, not all the roses were in bloom yet as we were a little early but we still saw some that have blossomed or starting to bud and everywhere smelt amazing! Simon spoiled me to a box of decadent Ladurée macarons and a Rose Religieuse pastry which was absolutely divine, decorated with pink icing and filled with a rose custard cream and raspberry jam! He also gifted me a fresh new bottle of Miss Dior Eau De Toilette which is such a special feminine perfume, I always feel most like myself when I wear a Miss Dior fragrance!
I hope you enjoyed hearing about my recent wondrous adventures and until our next princessy catch up, I’m wishing you a magical weekend! xo
