Walking In A Winter Wonderland
I’m very much feeling the festive spirit as I write up this blog post, I have the new Vanessa Hudgens ‘The Knight Before Christmas’ film playing on Netflix whilst I reminisce on the rainy morning I spent in London yesterday when I payed a visit to the Peggy Porschen Chelsea parlour with my beautiful friend Faye because I was very lucky to receive an invite from the Peggy Porschen PR team to review the new whimsical 2019 Sugar & Ice Arctic inspired Christmas collection.

It honestly made my year and is such a highlight in my blogging journey so far because you all know how much I adore Peggy Porschen and I have taken hundreds of photos at the pretty in pink parlours on more than one occasion. It was also the confidence boost I needed because I have been in a difficult place both creatively and personally recently with being so busy and my confidence was knocked a few times but I absolutely love sharing magical pink content with you all and I really appreciate each and every single one of you for reading my blog posts, liking my photos over on Instagram and always leaving me the sweetest messages and comments to read even when I have been quiet, it never goes unnoticed!
I slowly feel like I’m starting to get my passion and inspiration back, it’s time to focus more on myself and I’m ready to manifest into the universe the things I want in life because I know I am worthy and deserving of good things to happen and working alongside Peggy Porschen really is one of those dream come true moments and I am so grateful for the brand recognising my work and wanting to collaborate with me. I couldn’t be more excited to share this blog post and photos I took with my new camera with you, I hope they whisk you away into an enchanted snow-filled Winter wonderland of shimmering snowflakes and sugary sweets.
I was so happy when the lovely Peggy Porschen wanted me to try their new special edition Baileys & Chocolate layer cake, I had yet to see any photos but the description sounded heavenly and I definitely wasn’t disappointed! It might just be one of my favourite cake flavours and designs Peggy has created to date, with the indulgent light brown buttermilk sponge soaked in Baileys liqueur, layered with chocolate and Baileys cream cheese frosting, it was so light, fluffy and truly scrumptious (truly truly scrumptious) and I just adore the girly design with classic ‘Peggy Pink’ and ‘Baileys Brown’ pastel stripes and finished off with a sprinkling of pretty pink chocolate pearls and sparkly sugar snowflakes, it was so picture perfect, it was only natural that I got a bit camera happy!
This Playful Polar Bear cupcake enlightened my inner child with the nostalgic peppermint flavoured ice blue frosting & chocolate chip sponge, it reminded me of Mint Chocolate ice cream, the perfect festive cupcake to give you a rosy glow on a cold frosty day. I also love the fact that with each Arctic cupcake sold 5% is donated to WWF-UK to help support their work to turn the tide on climate change and protect the fragile Arctic.
As always every corner of the dream-like patisserie was decorated beautifully in a colour palette of minty blues and powder pinks, it’s like entering a frosted covered fairytale, cute pink penguins, iridescent snowflakes, twinkling pink Christmas trees and an array of festive flavoured cupcakes to choose from like Mince Pie, Chocolate & Orange and Jolly Gingerbread.
London at Christmas time is oh so magical and my tradition of visiting my favourite girly pink patisserie always makes me so happy and if you’re also looking for that warm and fuzzy feeling I would highly recommend organising a little trip because when the weather outside is frightful, Peggy’s is just the place to go!
