Wave A Magic Wand Over The Festive Season
Hello snow princesses! Magic is in the air so I wanted to create this post filled with enchanting ideas on how to daydream away and have a sparkly pink fairytale Christmas. During the last little countdown to Christmas try and find time to drift softly into your own enchanting la-la land and just be so at peace with your dreams and imagination! Cast wishes on stars, get lost in princess films, tie presents with a bow, give the gift of kindness, enjoy warm hot cocoa by your twinkling Christmas tree and simply breath all things cosy, girly and sweet in your magical hideaway.

Swan Princess
I’m so obsessed with my Christmas card and wrapping paper theme this year, I found the prettiest cards from Matalan which remind me of the Swan Lake Ballet and the most perfectly whimsical wrapping paper from WHSmith! It included a pack of two rolls one of which is pink paper decorated with a snowy white swan print with gold glittering wings and the other roll is white paper with pink glittery swans!
Hot Cocoa
When Jack Frost arrives there is nothing I love more than snuggling up with a hot chocolate whilst watching a cute Christmas movie with the lights on my Christmas tree twinkling in the background making it all that more magical and cosy! I’ve especially loved using my Dreaming of a Sparkly Pink Christmas mug I feel like it’s made for me and I just adore Vienna’s girly designs, I also have this cute and festive Hello Pudding mug from her shop too which I love! Christmas time is also the perfect excuse to enjoy all the extra trimmings like fluffy sweet marshmallows, an extra helping of whipped cream and why not even sprinkle some edible glitter on top!

Ladurée Dreaming
An advent calendar always reminds of the magic I felt as a child, such a lovely traditional way to countdown to December 25th! This year my countdown has been made all that more special with the dreamiest most luxurious advent I’ve ever owned from Ladurée! It’s just so beautiful with an illustrated Wintery scene of a Ladurée patisserie in Paris at Christmas time in soft pastel watercolours and is adorned with a pretty satin bow on the front and each door has contained an array of French sweet treats.
Fairytale Wonderland
Something I always treasure at Christmas is decorating my pink fairytale tree so when decorating your tree make sure it’s sentimental to you! My theme is always very whimsical and romantic, I like it too look as though it’s come from the pages of a storybook. If you would also like to achieve a pink fairytale Christmas tree next year too I would recommend a frosted tree as it looks so much softer and as though the branches have been dusted in snow, fill in any spaces on your tree with clip on roses and pink satin bows for a romantic and feminine touch, this year I also added blush pink feather boas to my Christmas tree.
When choosing ornaments I always think of my colour palette and theme so I have some baubles adorned with delicate designs like pearls, lace or feathers and I also have elements throughout my tree representing some of my most beloved fairytale characters and stories like Cinderella’s glass slipper from Swarovski as it always reminds me of when I got engaged at Cinderella’s restaurant in Disneyland Paris. Princess Belle who will always be one of my favourite princesses and this new dreamy swan addition gracing my tree which also just so happens to be named Freya! It is so elegantly beautiful and evokes all my Swan Lake and Swan Princess dreams! To transport yourself to the land of snowflakes listen to Tchaikovsky’s The Nutcracker score whilst decorating to get you in a Christmassy mood and feeling like a magical sugar plum fairy.

Cosy Angel
Wrap up warm like this adorable rosy arctic cookie from Peggy Porschen! When I’m at home I just love being comfortable and toasty warm when it’s cold outside! Think fluffy dressing gowns, princessy pyjamas and cute slippers, I’m still in love with my Victoria Secrets pink bow slippers, they are so so soft like walking on clouds.
Wishing you all the most wondrous Christmas filled with sugarplum dreams, love, peace and above all magic.
