Hey pretty pumpkins, so if you’ve been following me over on Instagram you will know I’ve been falling in love with Autumn this year and making it pink of course! A new season often feels like a new beginning and after this trying year we’ve all had I feel like a lot of us have needed some magic to look forward to amongst everything that’s been happening! I’m sharing this blog post on Halloween so get cosy with your softest blanket, lots of treats and a hot chocolate in your cutest mug as I share some of my favourite girly essentials for an enchanting Autumn. Even though it’s overdue because I feel like Autumn is literally flying by I still hope it inspires you for next year because they’re are so many ways you can immerse yourself in the Autumnal glow & feel like a fluffy little marshmallow.
Fairytale Pumpkins
Can you imagine what Cinderella’s carriage would have looked like if the fairy godmother had these pretty pink pumpkins to bibbidi bobbidi boo! I’m so happy with my pumpkins this year, they’re perfect for those like me who love Autumn but still view the world through rose tinted glasses! They’re so many fun creative ways you can add a girly touch to your Autumnal décor with the pumpkins you choose to decorate with because we all know it can be hard to come across pink Autumn décor especially in the UK.
Fairy Pumpkins ~ I just adore these whimsical fairy sized pumpkins which were a gift from my beautiful talented friend Lou who said “When I thought about what kind of style I wanted my pumpkins to have I thought I want to make them classy and elegant, the kind of pumpkins Freya would have.” They really are just that and more, the attention to detail that has gone into them truly is a work of art, embellished with delicate pearls, sparkling crystals, white bows and romantic roses. I imagine little fairies resting on them when I’m not looking and I’m just so grateful she lovingly handmade these stunning fabric pumpkins for me. I highly recommend giving Lou a follow over on Instagram too, her page is so dreamy.
Princess pumpkin ~ I also bought some white foam pumpkins from eBay to decorate myself, it’s such a cute and fun little activity to get you in an Autumnal mood, I painted them a soft shade of marshmallow pink with a little paint tester pot, sprinkled some glitter on them and painted the stalks with some gold paint for a magical touch. To finish them off I added some gold crowns (which just so happen to be cake toppers) but they were just the thing to transform them into fairytale princess pumpkins. I was so touched by the positive response this pumpkin received over on Instagram as well from your story shares and kind messages asking if would consider selling some, I’m just always blown away by your kindness and support, it really does mean the world to know I can inspire you.

Girly Seasonal Mugs
One of the things I love most in life is feeling cosy at home, In Autumn I find it so comforting to hear the sound of rainfall outside whilst watching a Netflix series or film, I’ve been loving The Haunting of Bly Manor for spooky vibes and Emily in Paris which isn’t in anyway related to Halloween but it’s so my aesthetic and just the light-hearted escape I think many of us needed this year, it gives me hope that one day I will be in Paris too.
When I’m having a relaxing evening I love to burn a seasonal wax melt from my favourite glam wax, I especially love the sweet scent of marshmallow pumpkin, blueberry pancakes or pumpkin spice latte to fill my home. As the evenings get colder I will have a warming drink in hand, I’m partial to a hot chocolate with all the trimmings or a vanilla latte, I would also definitely suggest trying a lotus biscoff latte too because I’m sure you won’t regret it, these biscuits have such a unique autumnal flavour and are a perfect little treat to accompany your hot drink of choice!
Of course your drink won’t be complete without using a cute seasonal mug and this ‘pumpkin kisses & autumn wishes’ and ‘hello pumpkin’ ones I have most definitely tick all the boxes! They’re from one of my absolute favourite brands called house of sydane on Etsy, I have a few of her Christmas mugs from last year as well and I’m always eagerly anticipating her new seasonal collections, at the rate I’m going I will need to dedicate a cupboard purely for her gorgeous mugs because I’m honestly obsessed with her original and girly designs. The owner of house of sydane has also become a good friend of mine, she’s so lovely and such a boss babe who also has an Instagram page where she shares beautiful home décor inspiration.
Pink Pumpkin Patch
Rather than a sea of orange pumpkins it’s a sea of pink pumpkins at Peggy Porschen which is definitely my idea of the perfect pumpkin patch! Recently me and my fiancé went to London, it was the first time we had a proper day out since before lockdown apart from a Tesco’s food shop which is about as adventurous as it got so it made my heart very happy to be back at my favourite pink patisserie whilst taking precautions and staying safe of course, I always feels as though I’ve entered a wonderland after every enchanting visit!
We enjoyed a blackberry crumble cupcake & sea salt caramel & popcorn cupcake, two hot chocolates which as always had the cutest seasonal stencils on them of a pumpkin and an Autumn leaf. We were also kindly surprised with two glasses of Prosecco which I thought was so lovely and a pumpkin chai spiced cookie, that was quite possibly the prettiest cookie ever. I simply adored the elegant iced rose design, pink lace detailing and pearlescent fairytale shimmer. I also just wanted to say that I completely understand and empathise with the fact we can’t all visit places like Peggy Porschen yet for various reasons so in the meantime I hope I made you feel like you were right there with me and gave you something to dream about! Keep believing and holding onto hope my loves.
I hope you’ve all been able to embrace October as much as possible and found the joy in the little things! I’m wishing you all a safe and bewitching Halloween before the clock strikes midnight, when the spell shall be broken and the magic of Christmas will soon begin.
